Gurney set to face Aspinall in Players Championship 25 final

Daryl Gurney is set to take Nathan Aspinall as the final of Players Championship 25 in Barnsley has been confirmed.

Gurney saw off Ian White, the number one seed in a 7-4 win which saw 'Superchin' average 100.5 as he aims to win his first Players Championship title in 2 years.
It will be his second title of the year though after his victory at the German Darts Championship. It will also be a first title on the Players Championship of the year for Aspinall who last won a title in 2018.
He can add to that and his US Open and US Darts Masters triumph with this title and he edged past Michael Smith in doing so.
