Haupai Puha becomes first ever New Zealander to win PDC Tour Card at Q-School

Haupai Puha has secured a PDC Tour Card at the European Q-School. After two unsuccessful attempts, the New Zealander was successful on his third attempt.

This makes Puha the first New Zealand darter ever to win a Tour Card at the Q-School. Puha did not need a day's win to grab a Tour Card, but accumulated enough points through the Q-School Order of Merit. On Thursday, "Hopes" began by reaching the last sixteen, followed by a quarterfinal finish on Friday and a run to the semis on Saturday.

Puha is no stranger to the PDC circuit. He competed in the PDC World Championship twice in the past. In addition, he is a regular at the World Series tournaments in Australia and New Zealand.
