Hempel ecstatic after Wright win at European Championship: "It will give me so much confidence"

Florian Hempel took out the defending champion Peter Wright at the European Championship on Thursday night seeing back to back first round defeats for 'Snakebite'.
Hempel, the ever improving German ace showed real quality on the stage in Salzburg and was ecstatic post match.
"I'm really happy," said Hempel. "He is the number two in the world and to beat him is an amazing feeling.
"To start on TV with a win in my first game is a great start. It's the biggest achievement for me and it will give me so much confidence.
"I want to play my best darts and I will keep trying my best."

They know how to manage schedules etc so the players can just play. And how is Edgar wrong? Last year MVG failed to qualify by missing too many tournaments and underperforming.
