Heta brushes aside Brooks, Brown dumps out Noppert and Van Duijvenbode prevails in Double Dutch clash with Veenstra

The afternoon session is complete at the Baltic Sea Darts Open with the seeds mostly dominating in moving through to Sunday's action in Kiel.

Among them was the third seed, Damon Heta who averaged 101 in laying down a marker easing past Bradley Brooks 6-2. Producing five 180's and 66% on the doubles, 'The Heat' rose it on the return of the European Tour and is into the Last 16.

As is Keegan Brown who snapped a streak of seeded players prevailing with another superb display as he knocked out reigning UK Open champion, Danny Noppert in a 6-3 win to also move through.

But while one Dutchman failed to win, one was bound to win as the Double Dutch clash between Richard Veenstra and Dirk van Duijvenbode saw 'The Titan' win through in a 6-3 win.

Only finding his form in the last few legs, it wasn't Van Duijvenbode at his dominant best but he did show some flourishes including a 94 checkout to win it going 18 and two double 19's to seal the deal.
