Heta into Last 32 at PDC World Darts Championship for first time after Woodhouse win

Damon Heta is into the Last 32 of the PDC World Darts Championship for the first time after seeing off Luke Woodhouse in a 3-1 win.

Heta produced a fantastic final set averaging 104 including a 124 checkout to seal the tie.

This after he went 2-0 up in sets with 15 missed darts at doubles from Woodhouse which allowed him to surge through.

Before Heta missed two match darts and Woodhouse stepped in to claim the third set and halve the deficit and force the Aussie to serve it out which he did in fine fashion.

He will now face Peter Wright on the return from Christmas with Ryan Searle or Danny Noppert/Jason Heaver in the fourth round after that.
