Heta-Price and Van Duijvenbode-Krcmar set for semi-finals at Players Championship 26

The semi-finals are set at Players Championship 26 with two blockbuster ties in the business end of action in Barnsley as Damon Heta will face Gerwyn Price, while Dirk van Duijvenbode takes on Boris Krcmar.
Heta continued his superb form by downing Matt Campbell in a 6-3 win averaging 104.73 in the process, while for Price, it was another 6-2 win over Michael Smith.
In the other half, Van Duijvenbode survived a late rally from Damian Mol to seal a 6-4 win and will now face Krcmar after the Croatian ace who will go a long way to retaining his Tour Card with a maiden title averaged 105 in demolishing Alan Soutar.

- As prize money increases each year and there are now more tournaments then logically breaking the £2 million barrier is going to happen, only thing preventing it is the now deeper strength in depth of the darting field. If you took Taylor’s best two consecutive years and substituted the prize money from now onto the tournaments he won he would have passed the £2 million.Mysstree26-11-2024
