Highest averages Slovak Darts Open 2026 | Nathan Aspinall tops list as Wessel Nijman delivers twice on title-winning run

Nathan Aspinall produced the highest single-match average of the whole 2026 Slovak Darts Open, despite rising Dutch star Wessel Nijman leaving Bratislava with the trophy on Sunday night.

Aspinall’s 108.65 in the round of 16 topped the tournament list, giving him the highest individual performance of the weekend before his run was later ended against Rob Cross in the last eight. Mike De Decker was second on the list with a 107.14 average in the last 32, while Cameron Menzies completed the top three after averaging 106.00 in his statement win over Gerwyn Price.

Nijman did not top the list, but his title-winning run was built on repeated high-level performances. The Dutchman averaged 104.50 in a superb quarter-final win over De Decker, then followed it with a 103.80 average in the final as he beat Cross 8-3 to become the first ever Slovak Darts Open champion.

That final display was the sixth-highest average of the tournament and came after Nijman had already survived a dramatic semi-final against Ross Smith. His 161 checkout on the bullseye in the deciding leg of that match sent him into the final, where he then produced another ton-plus average to seal the title.

Ross Smith also featured high on the list, with his 104.57 in the last 16 placing him fourth overall. Tom Sykes’ memorable European Tour debut weekend included a 103.64 average in the opening round, while Andrew Gilding and Tyler Thorpe also broke the 103 mark.

Cross, the beaten finalist, completed the top 10 with a 102.75 average in his quarter-final victory over Aspinall. It meant the final list featured Nijman twice, Cross once, and several players who shaped the wider story of the first ever Slovak Darts Open in Bratislava.
