Hogan claims three consecutive victories on Night Two of Remote Darts League, Turner impresses with victory over Herewini

The second night of action was completed on Tuesday night in the Remote Darts League with Paul Hogan currently second after like James Richardson claiming three wins in a row for an unbeaten night.

Hogan was facing off against Joe Chaney in his first game with the duo having met in the World Masters before and like that occasion, it was 'Crocodile Dundee' who came out on top 6-3.

Laura Turner had began the night with a superb victory over Darren Herewini which saw her the 20/1 outsider with the bookmakers to begin but she claimed a 6-4 win over the WDF World Cup Singles Champion.

This saw her go into her tie with Paul Hogan but he won through 6-2 to continue his perfect start. He then finished it off by seeing off Herewini himself 6-4 in the penultimate match of the night.

Joe Chaney also had a good night after he'd lost to Paul Hogan winning his remaining matches 6-3 and 6-2 against Darren Herewini and Laura Turner averaging around the 85 mark all night. He sits third in the overall standings below.

Like alluded to Turner claimed that victory over the New Zealander and sits six with two points. Herewini sits alongside Tina Osborne, his compatriot at the foot of the table at this early stage after not having the best start to Remote Darts League action.

In the first phase of the Remote Darts League which sees twenty evenings, all participants play against each other once. Four players are involved per night, with each player completing three matches. Matches are best of 10 legs, so a 5-5 draw is possible.

After twenty days of action, the top four in the league will advance to the playoffs, which are scheduled for Monday, June 8.

All matches can be viewed via this link . The broadcast starts daily at 9pm BST.
