Luke Littler will face off against Karel Sedlacek in the opening round of the Poland Darts Masters aiming to recapture the form that saw him win the title 12 months ago.
Back then, Littler saw off Rob Cross in the final 8-4 and both will return this weekend as 'The Nuke' looks to recapture his form. He was open about not being at his best prior to the US Darts Masters.
Apart from the World Cup, he has barely played since the Premier League Final and went on holiday ahead of a busy second part of the year in some much needed rest and relaxation.
He is also tinkering with a new setup slightly and so is using these events to get it right. But no doubt will want to click ahead of the World Matchplay.

He lost in the first round there last year to Michael van Gerwen and said this year he merely wants to win a game. In facing Sedlacek, he said he is buzzing to be back in Poland.
He said that the first game is the biggest with many using that to get over the first hurdle before building in the tournament. He will hope to avert a shock and reach the final day where his title defence will really begin.
“It was an amazing feeling to lift this trophy in front of a massive crowd, and hopefully I can defend the title this weekend,” reflected Littler in the run-up to this weekend's World Series return.
"It's an amazing experience travelling the world on the World Series and I loved my time in Poland last year.
“I'm looking forward to my first game now. I think the first game in any tournament is the biggest, because then you’ve got that winning feeling on stage and you know how to win.”
