The Premier League Darts travels to Nottingham this Thursday night. On Night 7, Luke Littler will take on Michael van Gerwen in the quarter-finals.

The duo have had two previous meetings so far this Premier League campaign. Van Gerwen and Littler met on Night 2 in the final, where 'Mighty Mike' would take the win. On the Night 4, Van Gerwen was too strong for Littler in the semifinals, 6-5.
Partly beautiful of these defeats, Littler has not yet managed to win a night. "Hopefully I can win one soon. I'm having a great time in the Premier League," Littler said. "Since I joined, everyone wants to beat me, so I always have to be at my best. I know the spotlight is on me now because I've done so well. I'll just keep throwing my darts and doing what I always do."
Last weekend, Littler was involved in a flashpoint at the Belgian Darts Open. In his semifinal against Ricardo Pietreczko, he went for treble 19 - tops - bull on a 147-finish, something his opponent could not appreciate. "There's nothing wrong with a little swagger," said Rob Cross, against whom Littler won the final of the Belgian Darts Open."
"Luke has the X-factor. Let him cheer, let him try the special checkouts. Who cares?"
