Luke Humphries is looking for his second straight night win in Premier League Darts 2024. In Nottingham this Thursday night, he will take on Michael Smith in the quarter-finals.
Humphries was too strong for the same Smith in the final last week in Brighton, 6-3. It was his first weekly title in Premier League Darts, in the standings he has advanced to second place, three points off leader Michael van Gerwen.
"My target this season is just to be in the top four, whether that’s first or fourth," said Humphries, who is playing at a 102 average in Premier League Darts. "There are eight fantastic players in this tournament, but I really want to make Finals Night; that would be a massive achievement for me."
"If it doesn’t happen, it doesn’t happen," continued 'Cool Hand Luke'. "It’s my first year in the Premier League and it’s all about experience and learning, but I’m loving every minute of it. To be involved in the Premier League is a privilege. I don’t feel like a debutant. I feel like I’ve been doing this for about five years."
