The
Swiss Darts Trophy is scheduled between September 26-28 2025 and it is the penultimate stop on the
European Tour and a return to Basel and another different country. Then we end in Hildesheim, a staple of these tournaments since the start.
It will feature a field of 48 players and £175,000 in prize money. £30,000 goes to the winner. Martin Schindler is the defending champion defeating Ryan Searle 8-7 in the 2024 final. The seeds are led by Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen and Stephen Bunting.
Schindler will be 16th seed on his return to Basel with Luke Littler deciding not to play this next weekend. Gerwyn Price, Damon Heta, Josh Rock, Gary Anderson among others are also involved. Gian van Veen, Wessel Nijman, Cameron Menzies, Nathan Aspinall are among the leaders from the ProTour Order of Merit. It is also the penultimate stop with the road to the European Championship in Dortmund concluding over the next two events.
How to watch
The Swiss Darts Trophy can be watched worldwide apart from in Germany, Netherlands and other countries who use Viaplay and DAZN as their main platform.
DAZN also show the tournament in Austria and Switzerland as well as through the DAZN Darts Channel on Pluto TV. Coverage otherwise is on PDCTV excluding Germany, Austria and Switzerland and through bookmakers worldwide.
This includes for those in the UK, USA and Australia who can watch using PDCTV. This subscription costs £49.99 a year for the Annual Pass which also features access to the priority sales for PDC Tournaments. Sessions will begin everyday at 12pm and 6pm UK time respectively with session times below for the whole weekend.
In addition, the annual pass on offer gives access not only to the Swiss Darts Trophy but also any Players Championship tournaments and Women's Series. Major tournaments aren't shown on PDCTV unless you are in territories without a TV deal.
