Hughes defies 105 average to dump out Wright as Last 32 begins at Players Championship 19

Another big name has fallen at Players Championship 19 with Peter Wright out of the reckoning as the second round concludes and the board finals (Last 32) begin.

Wright averaged 105 but was dumped out 6-4 by Jamie Hughes who averaged 98 in sealing victory and is one of a few early winners.

This as Matt Campbell spelled the end of Damon Heta's day with a 107 average to ease through 6-2. Karel Sedlacek continued his brilliance with a 6-4 success over Ryan Joyce.

While Ryan Searle, Raymond van Barneveld and Martin Lukeman are also through to the Last 16.
