Humphries produces comeback to defeat Anderson, Rileys Qualifiers Hayden and Williams reach fourth round draw

One player who has already had success this week just down the road is Luke Humphries, with 'Cool Hand Luke' following up his brilliance against Gary Anderson by defeating Kyle Anderson in a 6-5 win.

It could have been so much different for Humphries as he went 3-0 down but his throw started to click into gear and from there it was a quality end to the game which saw him win with a 98 average.

In terms of the shock factor, it is two Rileys Qualifiers causing all the noise with Rhys Hayden - known for appearing in the Development and Challenge Tour previously as well as for losing to Leighton Bennett in the final of the Open where 'Boom Boom' emerged and he has beaten Toni Alcinas.

'The Surgeon' Lewis Williams who at only 18 qualified through Sheffield is also in the hat after defeating the brilliant Jose de Sousa to also cause a seismic shock.

Scott Waites is also through to the fourth round continuing his run as the first as a Tour Card holder having defeated Madars Razma; while there was also real emotion shown by Bradley Brooks and Simon Stevenson as they won through - with the latter garnering quite a crowd to cheer him onto victory over Kevin Doets.
