Humphries-Searle, Clayton-Huybrechts and Smith-Hughes among Last 16 ties at Players Championship 1

The board finals are complete and the Last 16 is here at Players Championship 1 with many top names still involved as well as some new faces.

Among the latter include Jurjen van der Velde who has seen off Ricky Evans, Raymond van Barneveld and now Steve Beaton on his debut on the ProTour, he will now face Dirk van Duijvenbode.

This in the same section of the draw as Luke Humphries who takes on Ryan Searle. Other clashes include Kim Huybrechts - Jonny Clayton, Dave Chisnall - Stephen Bunting, 111 average holder Callan Rydz facing Mario Vandenbogaerde.

As well as World Number One and World Champion, Michael Smith facing Jamie Hughes. It is also a big chance for Dylan Slevin on debut, he faces Bradley Brooks in the same section as stablemate Daryl Gurney who takes on Danny Noppert.
