Luke Humphries has ended his Youth career in style by winning the PDC World Youth Championship at Butlins, Minehead.
Humphries whitewashed Adam Gawlas in the final and at the age of 24, he has finally accomplished a goal that he has missed out on a few times during his Development Tour dominance.
For Gawlas, he can have his head held high despite the heavy defeat as after only 8 months as a dart player, he has reached two World
Youth finals with him also playing in the JDC World Youth Championship next month.
To begin the tie, Gawlas missed darts at doubles and this allowed Humphries to punish with an immediate break of throw.
From there, this gave him a massive confidence boost as he took out 112 to coast into a 3-0 lead and he was cruising towards the title from there as he took out double 8 to make it 4-0.
He moved to within one with tops to and claimed the title from there which he was obviously delighted with.
