Kim Huybrechts has continued his resurgent run with a brilliant victory over Ian White to move into the Third Round at the PDC World Darts Championship.
It was a 104 average in the opening round for Huybrechts and it was 101 this time around for 'The Hurricane' as he completed a 3-1 victory over White with 8 180's.
He capitalised on double trouble from White who only hit 8/32 throughout the contest compared to 9/19 from Huybrechts in victory.
It was a brilliant start to proceedings with White's 127 checkout countered by a 121 immediately as he went towards an opening set win 3-1.
White in the second set came from 2-0 down to level up but squandered three set darts in the decider and Huybrechts as a result doubled his lead.
The Stoke-on-Trent ace attempted to craft a route back into the tie averaging 105 as he took the third set 3-1.
But double trouble came back to haunt White as he ended up in the madhouse and Huybrechts capitalised to break and move 2-1 up and towards the finishing line.
White broke back with a 72 checkout but Huybrechts got himself down to 36 with White back on 140 and he concluded proceedings from there.
