Ratajski storms into World Championship Last 32 after superb victory over Joyce

Krzysztof Ratajski is through to the Last 32 of the 2020/21 PDC World Darts Championship after seeing off Ryan Joyce in a rampant straight sets victory.

Ratajski hit a 100.4 average, three 180's and a high checkout of 126 as he looked good in his opener at the Alexandra Palace.

'The Polish Eagle' soared through the opening set with a 3-2 deciding leg victory with a 91 checkout sealing it as he averaged 106 to begin the tie.

Joyce watched as Ratajski broke and then held in the final two legs to seal the second set and go towards the finishing line as he was still averaging around the 106 mark.

He found double 20 to lead in the third set and moved towards the brink before concluding it with a 15 darter with Joyce sat on 64.
