Chris Dobey registered a hat-trick of 100 plus averages on his way to victory in Rotterdam last Thursday night, defeating Luke Humphries, Nathan Aspinall and Stephen Bunting to move to within 3 points of the Play-Off places. Dobey speaks ahead of week 12 in Liverpool, “I’m a fighter. I’ve worked hard to get myself back amongst the elite, and I’m here to win,". He starts off against Welshman, Gerwyn Price, who sits in 4th, in the quarter finals looking to carry on his winning streak and keep him in contention for the play offs.
“I firmly believe I can beat anybody, and if I can get another nightly win, I will put myself right back in the mix. After a poor start to his Premier League campaign, the 34 year old is starting to look up and believe he has still got a good chance of making the play offs. Chris Dobey is only 3 points away from the top 4 and if tonights results go his way he will be back in the play off places heading into Birmingham next week.
“I showed what I’m capable of in Rotterdam, and I think with the way I performed there, I’ve got a good chance of making the top four.” The Bedlington lad has given himself so much more confidence since his Rotterdam win last week, that everything now it starting to look up for him but can he add to that tonight in Liverpool.
His quarter final fixture is against Gerwyn Price. Tune in from 7pm GBT to see how it plays about for Chris Dobey.
