start taking it up till I was 16 after I left school and I was like this is
what I want to do. I put my head to it and stood by it.”
“My hero is
Gary Anderson, still the only person I haven’t spoke to on the tour yet because
he never practices. His attitude towards the game reminds me of me, he goes up
and does it and doesn’t care who he’s playing.”

four Pro Tour’s I was very unlucky I played fellow teammate John O’Shea -the same management
company as me… It’s massive to see the standard you have to be from the get go, you
can’t let your head drop because you’ll get punished for it.”
“I’ve been
playing very well I know I have but people tell me and I just kind of say I’m
doing okay, I’m doing okay. But I know that and I just keep that to myself.”

“Obviously
I want to be a World champion but we can’t all have that, but I will be trying
my best to be one. But my first goal for this year was to qualify for the World
Championship and I’m already guaranteed to do that.”
The youngster isn't short of plaudits either as well respected Barry Hearn said this about him.
“As long
as he works hard enough, that kid will be a Top 8 player one day”
