"I might just do 10 or 15 years and retire" - Luke Littler already planning out his retirement

People should not be surprised if Luke Littler stops his professional career at a relatively young age, the English teenage sensation told The Times.

His prodigious talent is so great that fans and pundits are convinced he has the potential to shatter every darts record, including Phil Taylor's huge tally of 16 world titles. But possibly Littler won't even make 16 more World Darts Championships.

Speaking to The Times, the 17-year-old Littler said he could call it a day in "10 or 15 years," having been playing darts week in and week out since 2017.

"I’ve been playing a long time in the juniors, in the old British Darts Federation," he said. "I might just do 10 or 15 years and retire, if I’ve had enough,'' Littler concludes.
