"We've actually never seen this before" - Vincent van der Voort watched in amazement at change in throw from Luke Littler

Last Thursday marked the fourth night of play in the 2024 Premier League Darts. Luke Littler lot out there in the semi-finals against Michael van Gerwen.

Vincent van der Voort was an analyst on Viaplay and watched the match with amazement. For example, he saw a marked change in Littler's throw. "Normally he retrieves the arrow all the way, now he's aiming more," Van der Voort said.

"He doesn't throw less because of it and that's not what it's about right now," Van der Voort continued. "It's incredible, because so he just has multiple ways to throw. We actually haven't seen that yet in darts. Bizarre."

Littler won over Peter Wright in Newcastle in the quarter-finals, but then was stranded in the semifinals after a 6-5 defeat to Michael van Gerwen. 'The Nuke' is now third in the Premier League Darts standings.
