"I think it would cause World War 3": Relief for Sherrock after avoiding partner Menzies in PDC World Darts Championship draw

Fallon Sherrock will face Ricky Evans in the opening round of the PDC World Darts Championship after receiving an invite late on to play at the Alexandra Palace.

Sherrock though could've had the unthinkable with partner, Cameron Menzies who is a PDC Tour Card holder also in the same pool when it came to the draw which she dubbed as potentially World War Three.

"From an emotional point of view, it would be harder," she said before the draw as per Mirror.

"Ability-wise, it would be harder because he’s a good darts player. I think it would cause World War 3. Somebody would be moving home!”

As previously reported, Menzies himself was glad that he avoided her and both were sitting there agonizingly in different portions of the house.

“I was sitting here, playing on the computer, and she was in the kitchen watching it,” the 33-year-old told Tungsten Tales. " It was getting to the later stages and we were like ‘it’s going to happen’.

"I’m quite glad we didn’t [draw each other]. It wouldn’t have been a good time in the house if we’d played each other.”
