Ian White has been having an incredible few days and has added a nine-dart finish to that today at the qualifier for the European Darts Grand Prix.
White pinned the effort in his opening win over Dennie Olde Kalter in Leicester 6-1 in which he pinned a 102 average. A prior perennial winner on the ProTour, White has since lived a charmed life not qualifying for majors and not winning titles.
But has shown the form is still there at times this week. He hit the nine-darter going the usual 180, 180, 141 way to go 3-0 up and then technically had four perfect visits on the spin.
He hit a 180 to begin the next leg on his own throw so technically hit 12 perfect darts in a row. He didn't go onto qualify losing in the final round but the form is certainly there.
