At the 2025 PDC World Darts Championship, Welshman Robert Owen starred, going on a run to the last 16 and keeping his place on the PDC Pro Tour. During the tournament, Owen's part-time job as an Iceland supermarket delivery driver came to late and now, 'Stack Attack's employers have celebrated Owen's heroics in incredible style.

As seen in images posted on social media by the MODUS Super Series account, Iceland have now gifted Owen a personalised delivery van and Iceland uniform. "Iceland and The Food Warehouse proudly celebrate the ice cool Robert Owen!" Reads a message emblazoned on the side of the Welshman's personal delivery van and on the back of his trademark red Iceland uniform.

As mentioned, during the recent PDC World Darts Championship, Owen fought to keep his PDC Tour Card hopes alive, eventually scrapping his way all the way to the last 16 before eventually losing out to Callan Rydz at the Alexandra Palace.

During the Worlds, he also spoke about his part-time role at Iceland. "I had to go to work because she (his wife ed.) was on maternity leave," Owen said. "We couldn't afford to really have no-one out of work. I went back to work and I've been working 50, sometimes 60 hours a week while she's been off just to cover everything. That's my responsibility as a father and a parent. But amongst all that, I've been going away and playing darts. I think I've done pretty well, probably the last seven, eight months while all that's been going on. But I love my job. I love going out to the community and going everywhere.I don't feel like I'm doing a job. I'm delivering people shopping and I enjoy it, which is sad, really."
