Josh Rock was left stranded at the 20th
Players Championship of the year in the last sixteen after a 6-3 defeat to reigning world champion and world number one,
Michael Smith.
That Smith likes to take on Rock should be obvious; after all, the reigning world champion won five of their seven duels between them. Remarkably, Smith also achieved a particularly high level each time against Rock. After all, his lowest average in those five wins was 106.07.
At Players Championship 20, he defeated Rock 6-3 and achieved 106.55 average. Less than Rock's 107.11, but thus still more than enough to win.
