Kevin Doets went down 8-6 against Luke Humphries in the final of the 20th
Players Championship of the year on Monday.
It was Doets' first ranking final, making him the seventeenth Dutchman to reach the final two of a Players Championship event in the PDC. This puts the Netherlands in second place. England continues to lead this ranking by a wide margin, as many as 77 English players have ever reached the final of tournaments on the
Pro Tour.
In third place is Wales with seven finalists, Australia and Northern Ireland have had five different players whilst Belgium, Ireland and Scotland have all had 4.
