The Czech Republic team for the upcoming World Cup of Darts has potential to be a tricky opponent for anyone. Alongside the youth of Adam Gawlas will be the experienced Karel Sedlacek.
"It will be one of the best moments of the season," says an excited Sedlacek in conversation with Weekly Dartscast as the build-up to the 2023 World Cup of Darts steps up. "I really like playing for my country. I think we'll be strong."
The Czech's have been drawn in a group alongside the Philippines and Singapore. With Adam Gawlas fresh off the back of taking a Development Tour title last weekend though, Sedlacek believes there is no one to fear.
"In the Czech Republic we have really good players," 'Evil Charlie' concludes.

World Cup of Darts

The World Cup of Darts will be played from June 15-18 in Frankfurt, Germany. The nation tournament has a revamped format this year, with only pair matches being played.
The field of participants consists of 40 countries. Top nations England, the Netherlands, Wales and Scotland are automatically qualified for the last 16. The remaining 36 countries are divided into 12 groups of three countries each. The 12 group winners join the aforementioned four countries in the second round. From then on, knockout matches will be played.
Darts fans across the United Kingdom can watch the World Cup of Darts on Sky Sports. The winning duo at the World Cup of Darts will go home with £40,000 each.
