Next weekend sees the 2023
World Cup of Darts take place in Frankfurt with a new format as 40 nations compete between June 15-18.
Albeit this new format sees a group stage and pairs throughout which has long been clamoured for by darts fans. Australia are the defending champions after a whirlwind run last year, Damon Heta and Simon Whitlock will both return.
But will have competition from Wales (Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton), Netherlands (Michael van Gerwen and Danny Noppert), Scotland (Gary Anderson and Peter Wright), and England (Michael Smith and Rob Cross) among others.
Sky Sports are set to show the tournament in full in the UK with the
TV Guide below for the weekend. International broadcast partners DAZN and Viaplay will also show it as will PDCTV in countries not showing it live on TV.
It all kicks off on Thursday evening and will be shown mostly on Sky Sports Arena.
As of time of writing, Friday has no listing on Sky Sports for either session but this will likely be updated before the tournament begins. Session times are 11:00am and 6pm on double session days with Sunday seeing the conclusion.
