The JDC World Championship has been cancelled for this year following an enforced ban on travel from the Government of Gibraltar until the end of the year.
The sixth staging of this tournament was scheduled to take place in November alongside a number of additional events but these will now not happen.
Other tournaments that have been cancelled include the JDC World Soft-Tip Championship and MVG Masters.
All ranking points towards November’s World Championship have been declared void as a result of this announcement.
The 2021 World Championship has been scheduled to go ahead as normal next year from November 24-28 but we won’t have the usual tie at the Alexandra Palace at the end of the year.
