Jeffrey de Graaf has won the last PDC Tour Card at the
European Q-School after a thrilling finale. De Graaf, needed a daily victory on Sunday to grab a Tour Card and that's exactly what he did.
The Swedish Dutchman managed to reach the final with victories over Felix Schiertz (6-1), Jeroen Mioch (6-3), Lukas Wenig (6-4), Alexander Masek (6-4) and Thibault Tricole (6-0). Wenig and Tricole were already sure of their Tour Card at that point, which means they can also be admired on the PDC Pro Tour for the next two years.
On the other side of the draw, Jitse van der Wal came out of the top hat. He defeated Vladimir Zatko (6-2), Roman Benecky (6-2), Laurens Admiraal (6-4), Tytus Kanik (6-2), John Michael (6-3) and Michele Turetta (6-2) to reach the final. Thanks to his victory over Turetta in the final, Van der Wal already secured his Tour Card.
In addition Haupai Puha, Jules van Dongen, Radek Szaganski, Chris Landman, Patrick Geeraets, Paul Krohne, Benjamin Drue Reus, Mario Vandenbogaerde, Michele Turetta and Tim Wolters had already secured a Tour Card via the Q-School Order of Merit.
The final Tour Card went to Damian Mol or Jeffrey de Graaf. Prior to the final, Mol held the final Tour Card, but Mol had to hope that De Graaf would lose the final. However, De Graaf managed to win the final with a hard-fought 6-5 win over Van der Wal, giving De Graaf his Tour Card back for the first time since late 2018.
