Jim Williams leads PDC UK Challenge Tour Order of Merit after first six events

The PDC UK Challenge Tour Order of Merit has been updated after the first of two weekends of action with Jim Williams in pole position after the opening foray.
This year's secondary tour is split in two with action coming from both the UK and EU.
The next UK Challenge Tour to finalise the season will take place in Milton Keynes between September 3-5 in tandem with the final European events.
Each region will claim a Tour Card and World Championship spot meaning that Williams has put himself in prime position with consistent form over the weekend alongside his title win.
The same can be said for Adam Smith-Neale with the former World Master his nearest rival with £3,300 ahead of fellow Shaun McDonald (£2,600), Darren Beveridge (£2,350), Jamie Clark (£2,300) and Jim McEwan (£2,250) with Gavin Carlin the first player not to win a title in seventh with £1,800.
Of the big names involved barring that, it was a poor weekend with Wayne Warren finishing on £0, Fallon Sherrock finished on £200. This alongside Richie Burnett (£350), James Richardson (£400) and Wes Newton (£150).
Chas Barstow who has been a standout on the ProTour and is in a provisional World Championship spot only collected £600 behind Robert Thornton who is also just outside the top 20 in 21st with £650. A mixed weekend for the top names in Milton Keynes.
