Joe Cullen, Callan Rydz and Ricky Evans all qualify for European Darts Trophy

As the second qualifier of the day concluded, it was led by Joe Cullen who narrowly qualified for the European Darts Trophy between March 21-23 as he led the ten involved.

'The Rockstar' was 4-5 down against Stephen Burton in his final round, but still pulled out the win 6-5. Cullen did not qualify for the Belgian Darts Open earlier in the day, missing out on a Euro Tour tournament in Belgium for the first time since 2016.

Ricky Evans secured a spot in the second Euro Tour tournament of 2025 by beating Mensur Suljovic, while Callan Rydz grabbed a spot at the expense of Dom Taylor. Alan Soutar, Connor Scutt, Dominik Gruellich and Niko Springer were the four other players who managed to qualify for the European Darts Trophy.

As well as those players, Kevin Doets who had such success at the World Championship won an all Dutch battle with Wesley Plaisier. Martin Lukeman edged out Kim Huybrechts who has a barren run from his two qualification attempts.

The players in the top-16 of the world rankings and the top-16 of the Pro Tour Order of Merit are exempt from participating in the qualifying tournament and thus already had an invitation to the tournament in Göttingen in their pocket.
