Players Championship Order of Merit Update: Gerwyn Price leads after first double header of 2025 season

After being on very minimal money to start off the double header, Gerwyn Price added £15,000 and now tops the Players Championship Order of Merit after winning the second event of the ProTour season on Tuesday.
Price defeated Chris Dobey in the final who hoisted himself up to fourth. While Rob Cross and Joe Cullen after reaching the final winning and losing respectively are sandwiched in between in second and third on £15,000 and £11,000.
Ross Smith rounds out the top five. Luke Humphries decided to skip the second tournament. He is now in joint eighth including Luke Littler. Michael van Gerwen didn't play this week so isn't even on the standings yet. Some did play including Michael Smith but with no money earned don't appear yet.
Playing Players Championship tournaments is the only route for players to grant themselves entry to the Players Championship Finals. At the end of the season, the 64 best players get to compete in the final tournament in Minehead.
