For Joe Cullen, his participation in the Dutch Darts Championship last weekend was a special milestone. He entered a European Tour tournament in Rosmalen for the 81st time in a row.
No other player has ever played so many Euro Tour tournaments in a row without missing one. The old record was held by Ian White, who participated in eighty consecutive Euro Tours from 2012 to 2020.
Cullen was also there in 2012, when the first ever Euro Tour tournament was played in Wiener Neustadt, Austria. However, the Englishman's run did not begin until September 2017 at the Dutch Darts Masters.
Over the years, Cullen has enjoyed a fair amount of success at Euro Tour tournaments. After two semifinals in both 2017 and 2018, Cullen won his first-ever Euro Tour title in 2019 by defeating Michael van Gerwen 8-5 in the final of the European Darts Matchplay.
This was followed in 2020 by his second Euro Tour title at the International Darts Open after the darter from Bradford again won 8-5 over the Dutchman in the final. Cullen took his third Euro Tour title at the Hungarian Darts Trophy in 2022 after an 8-2 win over William O'Connor.

Cullen made it to his fourth Euro Tour final in 2024 at the Austrian Darts Open, but this time he had to settle for second place for the first time. He lost in the final 8-4 to Luke Littler.
In total, Cullen has now participated in 107 Euro Tour tournaments in his career. Eighteen times the quarter-finals were the end station for the 34-year-old dart player. Eight times Cullen reached the semifinals. Furthermore, he reached four Euro Tour finals, three of which he won.
