On the final weekend of PDC Challenge Tour action, John Henderson has kicked it off by sealing Event 20. He saw off Lukas Wenig 5-3 in the final.

Henderson who continues to sit second behind run away leader, Berry van Peer has now put some distance between himself and Cameron Crabtree in third as well as Christian Kist in fourth. He saw off a resurgent Alan Norris, Reece Robinson and Jelle Klaasen in the latter stages in sealing the title.

It is a second Challenge Tour title of the season for the Highlander who also won event seven in Hildesheim.

On this tour, starting spots for the 2023 Pro Tour and Tour Cards for 2024 and 2025 can be earned. The highest-ranked players on the PDC Challenge Tour Order of Merit are eligible for reserve spots on the Players Championships.

The number one and two on the Challenge Tour rankings will be offered a PDC Tour Card at the end of the season for the following two seasons. In addition, they may also participate in the World Darts Championship.
