Jonny Clayton has booked his place in the final with a hard fought 5-2 win over Dimitri van den Bergh. It has been an exceptional Winmau World Masters campaign for 'The Ferret'.

Clayton will now face off against Luke Humphries shortly after Danny Noppert was defeated earlier on. It was poor from both with a 90 average, six 180's, 117 checkout and 31.4% on the doubles for 'The Ferret'.

It was poor from both to start the tie with Clayton poking his nose in front. Clayton breezed through the opening set hitting double four for 2-0. But as did Van den Bergh hitting double 16 for a clean sweep himself to leave it anybody's game in the early going.

But Clayton went into a 3-1 lead in the race to five. Clayton started second set with a 117 checkout and won the set ironically with a 22-darter on double one.

He won the next set with a 94 checkout to seal it for. But the next set started at 1-1. Van den Bergh was one set down with Jonny Clayton waiting to pounce for a 4-1 lead.

Van den Bergh hit a 158 checkout to seal the set down to go 3-2. But Clayton hit a 64 checkout for treble 16 and double eight to finally go one set away.

Clayton left 160 with Van den Bergh left on 417 and he set up 60 to level up at 1-1 and one away from the win. He pinned 44 to seal the win.
