Klaasen continued his resurgent run at the UK Open by knocking out Gary Anderson in a match; which went all the way to the deciding leg. 'The Cobra' is now into his first TV Quarter-Final since 2016; as he aims to reemerge.
Anderson's doubling was woeful to begin the tie with it down at just 1/10 as he allowed Klaasen to open up a 3-1 lead with relative ease.
'The Flying Scotsman' began to find his range and he produced a brilliant 124 checkout to do so going to 4-3 behind but despite that Klaasen always kept him at arms length.
'The Black Cobra' went to the point of no return at 9-8 up as he went one away but despite that Anderson popped up with a 150 checkout to force the decider. This did not help him to victory though as Klaasen moves through.
Van den Bergh has ended the run of Kyle McKinstry coming from 4-0 down to defeat 'The Village Man' who has been exceptional this weekend. He claimed the tie 10-8 and en route he hit nine 180's and a 94 average as The Dreammaker reaches the Quarter-Finals at the event for the first time.
