For
Martijn Kleermaker, the sixth round at the
UK Open was the end point. He lost out 10-4 against Luke Humphries.
Kleermaker had impressed in previous rounds with wins over Martin Schindler and Callan Rydz, among others.
"I felt good beforehand but my doubles did not go in at all in this match. I had to work very hard the whole match and it only paid off a little", said Kleermaker at RTL 7.
Yet the Dutchman can leave the tournament with his head held high. "Last week it did not go well at all at the Super Series, so I went to this tournament with doubts. But I am satisfied with what I showed here although I know I can do much better."
