The Russian team for the World Cup of Darts this year consists of Boris Koltsov and Dmitriy Gorbunov and it is the first time that the two players will play together at this tournament.
For Gorbunov, who made his debut at the PDC World Darts Championship this past December with a walk-on which gained attention at the time. He will now make his debut at the World Cup of Darts and won the EADC rankings to qualify.
As a Tour Card holder, Koltsov will receive an automatic invitation to the World Cup of Darts. The Viking has participated in this event six times before, but only managed to win through the first round in 2017. Then he reached the quarterfinals together with Aleksandr Oreshkin.
