Nico Kurz showed promise last year against Jamie Lewis with the German coming so close to beating him but he lived up to it by dumping Gary Anderson out of this year's German Darts Masters.

Kurz who's only other appearance on the big stage had come in the European Tour earlier this season admitted afterwards that he hadn't been so happy in all his life and that Anderson is a big role model to him.
He said his main tactic was to not focus on Anderson or the crowd and it paid dividends for the 22-year old with him claiming a massive win over the two time World Champion.
"This is the biggest win of my career, I think I've never been so happy in my life," said Kurz.
"Gary has always been a role model for me, he is one of the best players of all time. I still can't believe what I achieved today.
"I tried to focus on my game and not to pay attention to Gary or the amazing crowd, and I think it went pretty well!"
