Gary Anderson is the only player to break the cycle with his 2016 victory seeing a dominant 45 legs lost throughout the tournament. The list is rounded off with Taylor from 2003 with 49.
This 2009 effort in comparison to Wright's win last year shows the dominance of 'The Power' with 'Snakebite' having 88 legs lost to win last year's tournament.

Phil Taylor only lost 31 legs to win the 2009 PDC World Championship. To compare it, Peter Wright lost 88 legs to win the Worlds last year.
