Lewis on tenth Premier League spot after Anderson win: "It needs someone like Michael Smith or me, I'd be bored watching it"

Adrian Lewis continued his resurgence on Saturday night at The Masters with victory over Gary Anderson to move through to the Quarter-Finals.

Lewis spoke in his post match press conference and said that he attacked the game due to Anderson's form and that he has never lost faith in his game.

"I said to Gary, you haven't played like that for three or four years, what's going on. He said I'm coming back," said Lewis post match.

"I had no choice playing Gary, he's lost in the World final, he's obviously in top form."

"It only takes one tournament for me to be back there, I never think negative, I'm not that kind of player."

Lewis also spoke about winding up Gerwyn Price in the practice room who he will face in the Quarter-Finals.

"I had a chat with him tonight. MVG's come over see what darts he's using and there's a little bit of craic going on and I turned around and said listen not being funny Gerwyn but we all know who the Number One is, MVG is the World Number One and it all kicked off."

As well as about the final Premier League spot and that it needs someone who can entertain and is fast to add to the current line-up.

"The Premier League needs someone like Michael Smith or me. Someone who is faster pace, I'd be bored watching it."
