Adrian Lewis has done it! He is into a first major Quarter-Final for two years with victory over James Wade at the Grand Slam of Darts.

Lewis reeled off four consecutive legs from being on the brink at 9-6 down to knock out 'The Machine' 10-9 and potentially set up a rematch from the group stage with Michael van Gerwen.
The match was very even to start proceedings off with it being locked up at 4-4 with Wade beforehand going into the first interval 3-2 up but a 161 to make it locked up at the aforementioned score threw the tie firmly in Wade's further.
Wade edged in front with an 74 checkout to go 5-4 and then went two clear after 'Jackpot' was punished for two missed darts at doubles as Wade went 6-4 up.
Lewis hit a fourth 180 but Wade went further clear at 7-4 up. Lewis held throw but once again Wade stretched his lead and went one away at 9-6 up.
Despite that a flurry from Lewis saw him break throw and send it all the way at 9-9 after Wade had missed match darts. From there, the comeback was complete as Lewis claimed victory in a thriller with a 110 checkout ending it all off.
