Gerwyn Price has continued his title defence at the Grand Slam of Darts with a brilliant demolition job on the Demolition Man, Darren Webster to reach the Quarter-Finals in Wolverhampton.
Price ended up winning 10-1 with a 98.7 average and 66 percent on the doubles to boot as he didn't give his opponent hardly a chance.
To start the tie off, Price took out 74 to double his lead over Webster with a break of throw and at the interval, he was 5-0 up as he was running towards the finish early doors taking the first legs without reply.
Webster finally got off the mark with a 97 checkout to reduce the deficit to 5-1 but this proved only a consolation as Price resumed his march with a 76 checkout to make it 6-1.
Price had one foot in the Quarter-Finals from there as he went 9-1 up and from there he concluded the tie in what was a rampant display from 'The Iceman'. He is looking very good to potentially retain his title at the weekend and based off that performance who can bet against him.
