In the second quarterfinal, Luke Humphries and Dimitri van den Bergh will face each other. Humphries now stands at four major titles, while Van den Bergh has two in his pocket since this year.
The most successful player in the last eight is Michael van Gerwen. The 35-year-old Dutchman has already won 48 majors in his career. He takes on Andrew Gilding, who won his only major just at the expense of Van Gerwen. 'Goldfinger' beat 'Mighty Mike' in sensational fashion in the final of the 2023 UK Open.
The final two quarterfinalists are Michael Smith and Rob Cross. Smith has won two majors in his career, while Cross' tally already stands at four major titles.
