The Grand Slam of Darts is next up on the PDC Calendar taking place from 9 to 17 November with the round robin format seeing the best of the PDC and BDO compete with shocks and high averages aplenty.
Ahead of it we take a look back at the highest averages in the history of the tournament. Phil Taylor leads the way with an average of 114.65 thrown against Christian Kist back in 2014. Geert de Vos was just behind in 2015 in the group stage when he thrashed Jonny Clayton 5-0 with a 113.86 average.
Michael van Gerwen following that recorded an average of 112.66 against Gary Robson last year and similarly Gary Anderson also produced brilliance in the Group Stage last year hitting 112.37 against Ian White.
In terms of the knockout averages and there aren't a lot, Phil Taylor leads the way with 112.37 against Wes Newton in 2011.
Other ones include Michael van Gerwen's 111.17 in his 16-10 win over Peter Wright in the 2016 semi-final and 111.05 in a 16-4 win against Kim Huybrechts in 2015 which all round out the list.
