In today’s throwback video ahead of the Grand Slam of Darts, we look back at one of the best known moments of recent memory involving Gerwyn Price and Gary Anderson.
Price was facing Anderson in the 2018 Grand Slam final and as usual was giving it some in front of both his opponent and the crowd.
This distracted Anderson’s throw so when Price got closer with his celebrations, Anderson pushed him.
As a result of this and his match against Simon Whitlock, ‘The Iceman’ was given a record fine by the DRA which was
halved after appeal.
This though has stayed seemingly in the mind of fans with many calling it the cause of the constant whistling and booing he has received in the intervening months.
