The opening day of the Final Stage at 2024 PDC European Q-School is here and you can follow it all on our Live Blog with the first Tour Card up for grabs today.

29 Tour Cards overall will be on offer over the two venues to join the elite PDC Tour for the next two years. There will be more Tour Cards on offer at European Q-School than UK with 12 in all compared to nine in the UK.

The daily winners in Europe and also the UK seal a Tour Card outright so will not have to rely on the Order of Merit to do so. Those through automatically to the Final Stage include Jeffrey de Zwaan, Adam Gawlas, Rowby-John Rodriguez, Boris Krcmar as well as those from Affiliate Tours such as Kayden Milne who accepted his invite.

Joining them include the likes of Michael Unterbuchner, Max Hopp, Brian Raman and Kai Gotthardt who will in fact play for their spot.

Terrific Tingstrom makes step up LIVE BLOG CLOSED

The opening outright Tour Card holder of the week in Kalkar is set as Viktor Tingstrom will make the step up for the first time.

He hit a trio of ton plus averages during the opening stanza of Q-School defeating Jimmy van Schie in the final.

We will be back same time tomorrow for another day of action!

Final set in Kalkar

The final is set in Kalkar with two of the best players all day set to face off with a new Tour Card holder imminent.

Jimmy van Schie, the WDF World No.1 took down Cor Dekker 6-3 in the second semi-final and will now face Viktor TIngstrom.

The Swede has been firing in ton plus averages for fun today.

Semi-Finals confirmed in Kalkar

The semi-finals are confirmed in Kalkar and we will get Karel Sedlacek v Viktor Tingstrom in a bottle of two of the top performers of the day.

As well as WDF World No.1, Jimmy van Schie. He faces Cor Dekker with the 37-year-old Norwegian being a familiar name aiming to make his PDC bow.

As is Van Schie who was touted as the best player without a Tour Card for most of this season.

Van Schie, Sedlacek and Kciuk into Quarter-Finals

The Quarter-Finals are set with Jimmy van Schie, Karel Sedlacek and Krzysztof Kciuk firmly in the hunt still.

Viktor Tingstrom in particular impressed pinning a 101 average in seeing off Stefan bellmoment. While Cor Dekker produced the second best of the round with 91.

The rest hovered around the mid 80's including Alexander Merkx, Tytus Kanik and Leon Weber as well as the aforementioned names.

Hopp, Cameron, Unterbuchner and Labanauskas all fall in Last 32

There won't be returns to the tour for Max Hopp, Michael Unterbuchner or Darius Labanauskas today with a new winner looking maybe likely.

We are into the Last 16 in Kalkar with Hopp defeated by Tytus Kanik 6-1. While Unterbuchner was defeated by Stefan Bellmont. Labanauskas' run was ended by Jimmy van Schie.

While also out are David Cameron losing to Vitezslav Sedlak and also Damian Mol has also lost. Through include Krzysztof Kciuk, Jurjen van der Velde, Andreas Harrysson, and Ben Robb.

Second round complete as Hopp, Cameron and Robb remain in reckoning

The second round is complete with a few more results to run you through.

Ben Robb is through carrying on his good form from yesterday. He saw off Robbie Knops 6-3 with an 84 average, Max Hopp edged past Jeffrey Sparidaans.

While Jimmy Van Schie also remains. As does David Cameron with one of the displays of the day against Jeffrey Keen averaging 95.

Karel Sedlacek also is already through to the Last 16 having won against Maik Kuivenhoven in the Last 32.

The first round is complete at PDC European Q-School with a number of names through to the Last 32 in the Last 64.

Karel Sedlacek leads the way with Tomislav Rosandic, Darius Labanauskas, Damian Mol and Maik Kuivenhoven also through.

Rodriguez, Hopp, De Zwaan and Labanauskas through opener

The first round at European Q-School continues with mixed fortunes for the well known names.

Darius Labanauskas took down former PDC title winner and a Challenge Tour standout last year in Danny Jansen.

WDF World No.1 Jimmy van Schie is through, while Ben Robb, Robbie Knops and Jeffrey de Zwaan have sealed opening wins.

Rowby-John Rodriguez, Max Hopp, Karel Sedlacek and Brian Raman are also through. But Liam Maendl-Lawrance, Derk Telnekes and Boris Krcmar are out.

Krcmar was beaten by rising youngster Florian Pries who played in the boys Lakeside last month.

Wins for Mol, Van der Velde and Sparidaans

There are early wins for Damian Mol, Jurjen van der Velde and Jeffrey Sparidaans as the march towards a Tour Card continue.

Van der Velde won 6-0 with an 84 average, while Sparidaans hit a shade under 90 in his win.

Of those making their debut today, Danny van Trijp is the biggest casualty thus far. Wins also for Dominik Gruellich, John Michael and Xanti van den Bergh.
