The fans will return to live darting action in arenas for the first time since the solitary night of World Championship action in December at the Premier League Darts next week.
From May 24-28 with the latter date being the finale, fans will pack out the Marshall Arena with 1,000 per session and speaking on their return, Colin Lloyd is looking forward to it not only for current players but those popular on the exhibition circuit.
As if this all goes well, the possibility for exhibitions and all future tournaments to return with crowds is there.
“We’ve felt the knock-on effect, not as much as the big boys because they’re playing in front of huge crowds, but with exhibitions, having a bit of fun and meeting the fans. Everybody wants the crowd back and it will be great to welcome the fans back," said Lloyd to Sky Sports.
